DSS Database Suite


The information on this site provides updates of what is going on with the DSS Database Suite project as well as access to documentation used in the development and planning of the project.


DSS, or Disibility Support Services, is a department of SIUC that provides disabled students with the necessary services to facilitate their academic success. Our purpose is to help streamline all the work that DSS does by providing them with electronic bookkeeping services. Currently, most DSS records are stored as hard copies. The DSS Database Suite will allow for all of these hard copies to be converted into electronic records, as well as provide a user friendly interface for the DSS Employees to input and edit all new and current student information.
